Baby ShowerGames

Baby shower games are a lot of fun since moms-to-be, godparents, grandparents, and other invitees get to play childish games again. Some baby shower games that can be played include Guess the Nursery Rhyme, Baby Food Tasting, Mommy's Belly, and Dig out the Pins.

Planning games for a baby shower might be a bit difficult since there are so many fun games and only a few gifts to pass out as prizes! Here is a short list for you to pick from:

Mommy's Belly

The mom-to-be stands in the center of the room and each guest tries to guess what the circumpherence of her belly is using a string or toilet paper sheets. The guest who takes the closest guess wins a prize.

Guess the Nursery Rhyme

Give each guest a sheet of nursery rhymes and have them guess the nursery rhyme's name or finish it. The guest who names/finishes the most rhymes wins a prize.

Did You Say "Baby"?

Each guest is given 10 small clothespins to wear around their neck on a necklace or on their shirt. Every time someone says "Baby", whomever catches them first gets to take one of their pins. At the end of the party the guest with the most pins wins a prize.

Baby Trivia Game

Baby Trivia

Before the baby shower write down some baby trivia, some correct and others purposely incorrect. This game consists of asking guests one at a time if the baby facts are true or false. Those who know the right answer get a prize.

Photographic Memory

Place a bunch of baby items in a big plastic bowl. For instance a bib, a thermometer, a baby spoon, a tube of diaper rash ointment, etc. Let each guest get a chance to look in the bin for a few seconds, then take it away. Once everyone is finished have them write down everything that they remember being in the box. The person with the most correct answers wins.

Baby Food Tasting

Have a variety of baby food in jars, and take off the outside wrapper. Place a number at the bottom of the jar, and on a separate piece of paper write down the numbers and corresponding flavor of each jar's food. Guests are dished out a spoonful of each baby food to try and then write down what they think each one is. The guest with the most correct answers wins a prize.

Dig Out the Pins

this game tests the agility of the guests as they try to fish out the most number of diaper pins from a large bowl filled with uncooked rice and diaper pins. Set a timer for two minutes. The participant that has the most number of pins brings home the prize.

Have a great baby shower and don't forget to bring a gift!
